Ready Mix Concrete (RMC) is a mixture of cement, water, and aggregates. Ready Mix Concrete has become one of the most indispensible construction building materials. Ready Mix Concrete is tailor-made concrete used in the construction industry which is manufactured from a centralised batching plant and delivered to the customer’s site using miller lorry or transit mixer.
Concrete is freshly made as per customers’ requirement in fully automated batching plant using advanced technology in the market having facilities for storage of raw materials, quality control lab for inspection of raw material quality and concrete quality. Batching plants are available in a wide range of production capacities to meet the market requirements.
A basic RMC plant consists of cement batchers, aggregate batchers, conveyors, aggregate bins, heaters, chillers, cement silos, batch control panels and dust collectors.
The transit mixers work while in transit allowing the concrete to mix while travelling to the construction site. The concrete made has to be discharged within 2-3 hours after production. The preliminary setting time, distance covered, and running time are controlled using addition of special admixtures without hampering the concrete strength while in transit.
The final stage is that the concrete is discharged into the required building area using concrete pumps covering large heights and inaccessible areas by manpower.
